Allah SWT told Promised Messiah (AS) of his Death beforehand

Anti-Ahmadis allege that Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (AS) died a sudden & unexpected death. However, Ahmad (AS) received several clear divine revelations foretelling his demise. This is just how Muhammad ﷺ was granted revelations foretelling his passing.

Revelations in 1905 indicating death is near

Ahmad (AS) started receiving revelations that his death was near. He did not die all of a sudden, nor was his death unexpected. The occurance of these revelations peaked in the last few days of the Promised Messiah As’s death. Based on these revelation it is clear that the Promised Messiah AS had reached the age that Allah had desired of him and Allah was calling him to himself. This means that the Anti-Ahmadi allegation is left baseless.

In 1905, the Promised Messiah (AS) testified that he received multiple revelations saying that only a small portion of his life spanned remained. These revelations were a message to prepare him and the Jama’at for the future. He writes the following in his book, The Will:

“Since God Almighty has informed me, through recurrent revelations, that the time of my demise is near, and since these revelations have been of such force as to shake me to the very core of my being— turning my heart cold to this life—I have deemed it appropriate to write a few words of admonition…”

[The Will p. 1]

He goes onto cite one profound Arabic he received:

“The appointed time of your death has come close and We shall leave no trace of anything the allusion to which might reflect adversely upon your honor…We have the Power to show you a part of the fulfilment of Our prophecies about the opponents or cause you to die. You will die while I am pleased with you.”

[The Will p. 2]

In the same year, the Promised Messiah (AS) had a dream and revelation that only 2-3 mouthfuls of the water of life were left in a vessel given to him (mouthfuls are euphemism for years):

“I saw in my dream that someone had given me some water in a new earthen vessel. Only two or three mouthfuls of water remained in it but the water was very clear and pure. This was accompanied by the revelation: Water of Life”

[Tadhkirah (2019) p.786]
[Review of Religions, vol. 4, December 1905, p. 480]

Numerous revelations days before his death in 1908

On May 9 1908 Promised Messiah (AS) received the following revelation:

[It is time to march; again, it is time to march.”

[Tadhkirah (2019) p.1033]
[al-Badr, vol. 7, no. 21, May 26, 1908, p. 7 and al-Hakam, vol. 12, no. 35, May 30, 1908, p. 1]]

On May 15 1908 Promised Messiah (AS) received the following revelation:

“Be not afraid, O believers.”

[Tadhkirah (2019) p.1033]
[al-Badr, vol. 7, no. 21, May 26, 1908, p. 7 and al-Hakam, vol. 12, no. 21, May 26, 1908, p. 7]

On May 17 1908 Promised Messiah (AS) received the following revelation:

“Do not put your trust in uncertain life.”

[Tadhkirah (2019) p.1034]
[al-Badr, vol. 7, no. 22, June 2, 1908, p. 3]

On May 20 1908 Promised Messiah (AS) received the following revelation very similar to May 9 revelation but more direct:

“It is time to march; again, it is time to march and death is near.”

[Tadhkirah (2019) p.1034]
[al-Badr, vol. 7, no. 22, June 2, 1908, p. 3]

Confirmation by the Promised Messiah (AS)

On the night of his passing, Ahmad (AS) confirmed the revelations about his death when his dear wife, Amma Jan (RA), asked in concern:

“…I got worried and said ‘O Allah what is happening?,’

Promised Messiah (AS) replied, this is what I used to say (referring to his earlier revelations about his death)”

[Seeratul Mahdi, vol.1, pg. 10-11]

Revelations Fulfilled

Ahmad (AS) passed away peacefully on his bed, as foretold in divine revelations, at 10:30 AM on May 26, 1908, surrounded by family and engaged in the remembrance of Allah.

Several eyewitnesses, including his close family members, friends, and doctors, confirmed his blessed death which can be read here: https://whiteminaret.org/allegations-on-messiah/death-on-toilet/#Explanation

Similarity with Holy Prophet Muhammad ﷺ

Prophet ﷺ did the Farewell Sermon.

Ahmad (AS) wrote his last major book “The Will”.

Prophet ﷺ prophesied his death on the deathbed to his daughter, Hazrat Fatima (RA)

Ahmad (AS) prophesied his death to his beloved wife, Hazrat Syeda Nusrat Jahan Begum (RA) – commonly referred to as Amma Jan (RA).

Narrated `Aisha:

“Mother of the Believers: We, the wives of the Prophet (ﷺ) were all sitting with the Prophet (ﷺ) and none of us had left when Fatima came walking, and by Allah, her gait was very similar to that of Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) .’ When he saw her, he welcomed her, saying, “Welcome, O my daughter!” Then he made her sit on his right or his left, confided something to her, whereupon she wept bitterly. When he noticed her sorrow, he confided something else to her for the second time, and she started laughing. Only I from among the Prophet’s wives said to her, “(O Fatima), Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) selected you from among us for the secret talk and still you weep?” When Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) got up (and went away), I asked her, “What did he confide to you?” She said, “I wouldn’t disclose the secrets of Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ)” But when he died I asked her, “I beseech you earnestly by what right I have on you, to tell me (that secret talk which the Prophet had with you)” She said, “As you ask me now, yes, (I will tell you).” She informed me, saying, “When he talked to me secretly the first time, he said that Gabriel used to review the Qur’an with him once every year. He added, ‘But this year he reviewed it with me twice, and therefore I think that my time of death has approached. So, be afraid of Allah, and be patient, for I am the best predecessor for you (in the Hereafter).’ ” Fatima added, “So I wept as you (`Aisha) witnessed. And when the Prophet (ﷺ) saw me in this sorrowful state, he confided the second secret to me saying, ‘O Fatima! Will you not be pleased that you will be chief of all the believing women (or chief of the women of this nation i.e. my followers?”)“

[Sahih al-Bukhari 6285, 6286]

Further Similarities with the Holy Prophet ﷺ can be read here in our featured article: https://whiteminaret.org/allegations-on-messiah/similarities-death-of-muhammad-saw/

Conclusion

In conclusion, the Promised Messiah (AS) peacefully passed away on his deathbed, at 10:30 am, surrounded by his family, while deeply engrossed in the remembrance of Allah. One of his final expressions was a heartfelt invocation, “O my beloved Allah.”

It is important to highlight that the accusation made by Anti-Ahmadis regarding his demise is a baseless falsehood devoid of any credible source.

Furthermore, it is noteworthy that the manner in which the Promised Messiah (AS) departed from this world bears a striking resemblance to the last moments of our beloved Prophet (SAW). Therefore, this unfounded allegation not only amounts to a clear act of fabrication but also represents a blasphemous and disrespectful insinuation against the noble Prophet (SAW) himself. May Allah guide those who engage in this blasphemy.

Don’t Fight God: A Warning from Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (AS)

The Holy Founder of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama‘at, the Promised Messiah and Mahdi, Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (AS) of Qadian, articulated in his writings a deep sense of anguish, resolute conviction, and firm reliance upon Divine support. In addressing the scholars and notables of the Muslim ummah at the time, he issued earnest warnings couched in powerful and moving language. He (AS) repeatedly warned the Muslim ulema about the danger of resisting the Divine will, stressing that opposing a messenger of God is, in reality, opposing God Himself. He made it clear that no prayers or supplications, no matter how many or how intense, could ever harm one who is truly sent and supported by the Almighty.

The full warning and fiery challenge of Ahmad (AS) to the Ulema is listed below with references:

“The world does not know me, but He knows me Who has sent me. Those who wish my destruction are mistaken and extremely unfortunate. I am the tree which has been planted by the Lord God with His own hands…..

O People! You must understand this for sure that I am accompanied by that Hand which shall remain faithful to me till the end of time. If your men and your women, and your young and your old, and your insignificant ones and your notables: all committed themselves to praying for my destruction—so much so that your noses get withered and wasted away due to your endless prostrations, and your hands become numb, even then God will most certainly not accept your prayers, and He will not relent until His will is done. Even if I do not have a single human being with me, the angels of God will be on my side. And if you withhold your testimony, the stone will well nigh testify for me. Therefore, do not wrong your souls. God leaves nothing unresolved. I consider as accursed a life which is tainted with falsehood and lies, and which, out of the fear of the creatures of God, evades to comply with Divine imperatives. It is certainly impossible for me to show any slackness—even if the Sun moved from one side and the Earth from the other to crush me between them—in carrying out the duty which God Almighty has at the moment entrusted to me, and for which Alone He has sent me. What is man? A mere worm and nothing more than a clot! How then can I, for the sake of this lowly creature, fail to abide by what the Self-Subsistent Being has commanded. Just as God decided between His prophets and those who rejected them, so shall He decide now. There is a time for the prophets to come and a time to depart: do mark it for sure, that I have neither made a seasonless appearance, nor shall my exit be unseasonable. Don’t fight God. It is not for you to destroy me!“

[Mahzarnama (The Memorandum), 1974 National Assembly of Pakistan, p. 193-194] [Tohfa Golarviyyah, Ruhani Khizain Vol.17, pp.49-50]

This challenge is also recorded in similar wording in the following reference: [Ruhani Khazain, vol. 17, pg. 400]

Hear Maulana Dost Muhammad Shahid (RH) read this challenge passionately in this powerful audio clip: [YouTube | An Excerpt From The Book Tohfa-e-Golraviya (Urdu)]

“In the sheer name of God, I remind my opposing divines and their ilk that abuse and invective is not the way of gentlemen. If in your warped thinking, you insist on this misdemeanour, so be it. If you must take me as an impostor, you have also the option to assemble in your mosques and pray against me individually or in congregation. Were I an impostor, those prayers will certainly be answered. For the matter of that you always pray against me.

But do remember! Even if the profusion of your prayers were to lacerate your tongues, if you rub out your noses in prostration and your eyelids rot on account of tears, your eyelashes fall, your eyesight gets impaired because of excessive crying, and your mind becomes blank to end up in melancholy—even then those prayers shall not be heard, because I am from God…. No one can die on this earth unless his death is ordained in the heaven. My soul is blessed with the same truth which was bestowed on Hadhrat Ibrahim, on whom be peace. I have an Ibrahim-like affinity with God. No one knows my secret but my God. My opponents are fortuitously engaged in self-destruction: I am not the plant which can be uprooted by their hands…. O, God! Do Thou have mercy on this ummah. Amen!“

1974: A Nation’s Rejection

Despite the earnest warning of Hazrat Ahmad (as), the leaders of the Muslim ummah chose hostility over reflection. On September 7th 1974, the National Assembly of Pakistan declared Ahmadis as apostates (Murtad) and outside the fold of Islam. For 50+ years since that day, they have been officially considered Non-Muslims – not by God’s scripture or Hadith, but by a constitutional amendment. This decision shows that it was driven by political motives and pressure from the ulema, who have historically opposed the truthful one and sought to challenge God.
Path Against God’s Messenger ﷺ and Its Consequences

Excommunicating an entire community that identified as Muslims demonstrated the very arrogance and opposition against which Hazrat Ahmad (as) had warned. In fact, this act directly contradicted the guidance of the Prophet Muhammad (SAW), who stated that there would be one true heavenly jama‘ah on one side in the latter days, and 72 hell-bound sects on the other (click here to see the Hadith).

Instead of seeking God’s verdict through humble prayer and sincere inquiry, Pakistan’s National Assembly issued a man-made judgment – effectively trying to uproot the tree God Himself had planted. From that day onward, Pakistan has fuelled hatred, discrimination, and brutalities against Ahmadis, thereby inviting the wrath of God by opposing His Messenger – as the country regresses every single day politically, socially, and economically. In opposing the tree planted by the Almighty, they have placed themselves on a path where lasting success and the status of true Muslims remain beyond reach.

May Allah the Almighty guide the Muslim Ummah, especially the Muslims of Pakistan, to recognize and accept the Imam of the Age. Amin.

Introduction

Every year on 12th Rabi’ al-Awwal, millions of Muslims around the world, particularly in Yemen, Egypt, and the Indian subcontinent, celebrate Mawlid or Eid Milad al-Nabi – which is the commemoration of the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. These gatherings usually involve speeches, poetry recitations, processions, and festive celebrations – most of which are outward and ostentatious in nature.

However, as Ahmadi Muslims, it is important to remember the clear guidance given by the Messiah and Imam of the Age, Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (AS).

Mawlid Al-Nabi: An Innovation Not Established by the Prophet ﷺ

The Holy Prophet ﷺ himself never celebrated his own birthday, nor did the Sahaba (RA), and nor the early generations of Muslims. Love for the Prophet ﷺ was not expressed outwardly through annual festivities, but rather by obedience, following his Sunnah, and upholding his mission.

This is exactly what Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (AS), the Promised Messiah and Mahdi, made clear – that true love for our beloved master, the Holy Prophet ﷺ, is demonstrated through practice of his teachings, not through innovations (bid‘ah).

Stance of the Promised Messiah (AS) on Mawlid

The Promised Messiah (AS) was asked whether Mawlid Majalis (gatherings commemorating the birthday of the Holy Prophet ﷺ) could be convened. He (AS) gave a detailed reply with clear guidance for Ahmadis. Below is a portion; the full answer can be read in the attached Urdu and English scans.

“If a meeting is held for the upholding of Islam and remembrance of the Prophet ﷺ, it comes under the kind of meetings which are permitted. The audience must be offering Durud. No innovations must take place there. The speeches must contain only the events of the life of the Holy Prophet ﷺ and the people should be praising God and praying for the Prophet.”

[Al Hakam, April 30th, 1904, pg 3] [English Scan]

Furthermore, Ahmad (AS) constantly explained that Muslims should remember the Holy Prophet ﷺ every single day, not just once a year. He taught that reducing the Prophet’s ﷺ remembrance to a single day of festivities diminishes his true greatness.

He (AS) repeatedly stressed that the Prophet ﷺ must be remembered in every prayer, and that a true Muslim should send abundant Durood upon him daily – as that is a direct command of Allah in Holy Qur’an 33:57. According to Ahmad (AS), honouring our beloved master ﷺ truly was not through rituals, but in living his example in our daily lives – reflected in our actions, speech, and morals – while remaining firmly attached to the Qur’an and Sunnah as the real expression of love.

Stance of Khalifatul Masih I (RA) on Mawlid

Hazrat Hakeem Maulvi Noor-ud-Din (RA), Khalifatul Masih I, made it abundantly clear that Muslims have only two Eids. Therefore, calling or celebrating Mawlid as “Eid Milad” is a bid‘ah, and that true love for the Prophet ﷺ should be expressed as Masih Maud (AS) taught and expressed himself – by following the Qur’an and Sunnah, not through innovations:

“Eid Milad is a bid’ah. There are only two Eids. In this way, people will keep creating new Eids and Ahmadis will say that there should be an Eid on the day of Mirza Sahib’s first revelation and Eid on the day of his death […] The greatest lovers of the Prophet ﷺ were the Sahaba, and they did not create a third Eid. If Eid Milad was permissible, then Hazrat Sahib [the Promised Messiah (AS)], who was a great lover of the Prophet ﷺ, would have observed it. To create such an Eid is a sign of ignorance, and those who create it only want to please the masses, otherwise they have no religious zeal.”

[Irshadat-e-Noor, vol 2, pg 352-353]

Stance of Beloved Huzoor (ATBA) on Mawlid

In his Khutbah (Friday Sermon) on March 13, 2009, on the topic “True Commemoration of the Blessed Life of the Holy Prophet ﷺ”, Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad (atba), Khalifatul Masih V, stated:

“The life of our beloved Prophet can be discussed at different times throughout the year, and such gatherings should be held. This has been the practice of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, and this is what the community does. Therefore, it is not tied to any specific day, but even if a specific day is designated for holding these gatherings and discussing the Prophet’s life—which is always discussed—there is no harm in it if it happens across the country and the world. However, it is essential that no innovations are included.”

[Alislam: Friday Sermon, March 13th, 2009]

This question about celebrating Mawlid Jalsa was also once posed to Beloved Huzoor (atba) by a young female, to which Huzoor (atba) replied that while commemorating Jalsa Eid Milad Al-Nabi in the way many Muslims do is incorrect, it is also wrong to label it entirely forbidden. He explained that even in Qadian and Rabwah, people celebrated it by reciting “Salle Allah” and decorating their homes with lamps, lights, and small flags.

Huzoor (atba) clarified that celebrations are only forbidden when they involve harmful innovations. However, if such events are observed to highlight the message of Islam and the Holy Prophet ﷺ – for example, as a Jalsa Seerat-un-Nabi which we Ahmadis started and hold in many countries today – then there is no harm in them:

“Who says we do not celebrate it? We do not celebrate Milad-un-Nabi Jalsa on that day, which was started by the Non-Ahmadis. Seerat-un-Nabi Jalsa was started by Ahmadis, before that it was non-existent. When Hindus and Christians started their accusations against the Holy Prophet (SAW), at that time, above all others, the Promised Messiah (AS) responded to them. The Jalsas started in the time of Hazrat Musleh Maud (RA) and Seerat-un-Nabi Jalsas are now held today […] Hence we do not condemn it, in fact we started it. These people just celebrate Milad-un-Nabi once annually, talk a bit and then settle back down.”

[Waqf-e-Nau Class, June 8th, 2014]

Furthermore, Ahmadi Muslims pretty much celebrate “Eid Milad-un-Nabi ” every single day. How?

Because beloved Huzoor, Hazrat Khalifatul Masih V (atba), has instructed all Ahmadis around the world to send Salawat (Durood Sharif) upon the Holy Prophet ﷺ at least 200 times daily (with age-based guidance for younger members). This practice shows that Ahmadis are remembering, honouring, and drawing closer to the Prophet ﷺ every single day throughout the year, and not just one day.

Conclusion

While millions of Muslims around the world celebrate Mawlid or Eid Milad Al-Nabi, Ahmadi Muslims should remember the clear guidance of the Promised Messiah (AS): the true way to honour the Holy Prophet ﷺ is through daily love and obedience, sending abundant Durood upon him and his progeny, and reflecting and studying his life – not through innovations that he himself never practiced.

Introduction

Some anti-Ahmadis, such as Nuzhat Haneef and Adnan Rashid, allege that Mirza Ghulam Ahmad Qadiani (AS) had a bad character because he was uncivil when mocking the Christians.

But the mockery must remain within bounds of civility and also must be fair.

They show this picture as “Proof”

The claim is, look, how Mirza Ghulam Ahmad drew up this picture of Dowie, meanwhile his own picture is there.

Refutation

First of all, if we go to the original edition, we see how bogus this claim really is

Original Edition has a Drawing of Mirza Ghulam Ahmad AS

The claims that these images are a caricature of Dowie is extremely laughable at best.. The original edition of the same book quoted by Adnan) also has a sketch of Masih Mau’ud ASWill anti-Ahmadis claim he drew a caricature of himself?

*Note: The page numbers are different because Ruhani Khazain compilation came after, and in the lifetime of Promised Messiah AS there was no such compilation called “Ruhani Khazain”, where multiple books can be in a singular volume

Why the need of sketches?

Photocopiers as we have today were not available and did not come into existence until the 1960’s onwards. Reproducing images was difficult and tedious – sketches, drawings etc were common : https://www.npr.org/2013/10/23/239241106/happy-birthday-copy-machine-happy-birthday-copy-machine

An Actual Caricature of Dowie

Definition of Caricature

A caricature is a painting, or more usually drawing, of a person or thing in which the features and form have been distorted and exaggerated in order to mock or satirise the subject.

Here is one historical caricature of Dowie:

Sketches were taken from Newspapers

Promised Messiah AS himself has denoted in his books that he has taken images from newspapers and published them (He didn’t draw them).

اور وہ یہ ہے جس کو ہم نے عیسائیوں کی شائع کردہ تصویروں سے لیا ہے۔

…and which was taken from the pictures published by the Christians.’

Each sketch in the book of the Promised Messiah AS was from the newspapers:

Example 1:

Example 2:

Some more images of Dowie:

Conclusion

According to the absurd conclusion of the Anti-Ahmadis, Promised Messiah AS drew a caricature of Dowie but also of himself. Clearly, these ignorants do not even know what the meaning of the word caricature is. Sketches of an images which are accurate can not be deemed as a caricature as by definition a caricature has exaggerated features.

Promised Messiah AS didn’t draw these pictures; rather these were sketched by an artist/scribe based on newspaper photos.

Introduction

An Anti-Ahmadi by the name of ReasonOnFaith alleged that Ahmadiyya Jama’at fabricated Malfuzat to add the Mubahala challenge to Pigott, 60 years after the death of Mirza Ghulam Ahmad Qadiani (AS).

Let’s enjoy the absolute ignorance of this ‘intellectual’.

Malfoozat: The compilation made in 1960 of Mirza Ghulam Ahmad’s statements, written down over half a century after Mirza Ghulam Ahmad had already died. Generally speaking, entries are not traced back to any contemporaneous written records.

…

Perhaps the reason for the missing mubahila reference is that much of the mubahila apologetic comes to us from passages in Malfoozat—a compilation of books not published until the 1960s—and even then, only in Urdu.9 As a result, many apologists in the Jama’at for whom English is their main language, wouldn’t have even known about this innovative line of apologetic.

Of course, if a mubahila was proposed to Pigott back in Mirza Ghulam Ahmad’s own lifetime, you’d think we’d at least have one article defending the prophecy on those grounds in say, 1908, 1909 or 1910.10

Ahmadi Muslim readers are encouraged to look for such an article from the period. Try the Review of Religions archives from both the Qadian and Lahore branches of Ahmadiyya Islam. Did you find a candidate article? If so, does it provide authenticated evidence from before Mirza Ghulam Ahmad’s own death, that a mubahila was issued? If not, why did we have to wait until the 1960s for this evidence to surface? Food for thought.

[Link]

There are countless sensational claims like this, alleging that the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community fabricates new references to counter the attacks of its opponents. For the sake of brevity and to spare the little dignity left for the anti-Ahmadis, we will leave it at that.

Refutation

Malfuzat – A fabrication of the 1960s?

Malfuzat is a collection of all the oral sayings of Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (AS) that were published in Al-Hakam and Al-Badr newspaper, during the lifetime of the Promised Messiah (AS). This is literally mentioned in the preface of every volume of Malfuzat.

In the preparation of this most recent typeset edition, the original sources from Al-Hakam and Al-Badr Qadian were studied and every effort was made to include any spoken words of the Promised Messiah, on whom be peace

[Link]

Every single reference in Malfuzat has the reference of the corresponding Al-Hakam and Al-Badr newspaper’s date and year. Here is 1 simple example from English Malfuzat.

Similarly, Urdu Malfuzat has the exact same references with each narration from Promised Messiah (AS). It is absurd to claim that Ahmadis invented the references and attributed them to Ahmad (AS) to answer the critics.

Pigott Mubahala in Al-Hakam?

After knowing the absolute ignorance of the Anti-Ahmadi, we will now show proof of the reference from Al-Hakam where the Promised messiah (AS) sends a challenge of Mubahala to Pigott.

We should definitely send a letter to Piggott. If he competes, it will have a massive influence and people will also pay attention.

Mufti Sahib said that a letter has already been written.

The Promised Messiah (as) said: In comparison to US [Dowie], we are much more connected with Britain. If he accepts this competition and this is properly documented, we hope that Allah will show a sign.”

The original scan for this particular passage in Malfuzat, vol. 2, p. 439 is found in Al-Badr, Nov 7, 1902, p. 14.

Al-Badr, Nov 7, 1902, p. 14.

Conclusion

Almost every non-Ahmadi who attacks the Jama’at or the Promised Messiah (AS) displays the same level of ignorance. They do not engage in objective research or genuine learning; rather, their sole motive is to satisfy their ego and push a personal agenda.

Unfortunately, despite repeatedly reminding ReasonOnFaith, the article on his website remains unchanged even after three years. This only reinforces that their attacks on the community are not based on truth or sincerity. May Allah guide every enemy of Jama’at-e-Ahmadiyya. Ameen.

Introduction

There is a famous Anti-Ahmadiyya book circulated on the internet. It is titled: “An Unequivocal Clarification – Exposing the Qadiyani Ahmadiyya Sect“1. The author was a renowned Sunni scholar and the Imam of the Masjid Haram in Mecca. The book is filled with blatant lies and absolute filth about Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (AS).

In this article, we will expose many of the lies from this book.

Author’s Introduction

I will post the introduction of the author as written in the book itself.

This should be enough to show that no matter the ‘high’ caliber of these so-called ‘scholars’, they are no different than the ignorant laymen on social media.

He is the scholar and Imām, Shaykh Abū ‘Abdillāh Muḥammad bin ‘Abdillāh as-Subayyil b.
He was born in 1345 AH (1924 CE), and he passed away in 1434 AH (2012 CE).

» HIS POSITIONS:
• Imām and Khaṭīb at Masjid al-Ḥarām in Makkah
• Member of the Permanent Committee of Scholars
• Member of the Islamic Fiqh Academy
• President of General Affairs in Masjid al-Ḥarām and Masjid an-Nabawī in Madīnah.

» HIS DA’WAH EFFORTS:
Shaykh Muḥammad as-Subayyil authored numerous works and had many great efforts in da’wah, visiting more than 50 countries to teach and spread Islām, such that many people accepted Islām by way of Allāh and then though his da’wah and gentleness.

» HIS SCHOLARS:
Shaykh Muḥammad as-Subayyil studied with a number of scholars, among them:
• Shaykh ‘Abdul-‘Azīz as-Subayyil (his brother), the judge of Bekeriyah
• Shaykh ‘Abdullāh as-Subayyil (his father)
• Shaykh Muḥammad bin Muqbil al-Muqbil, the judge of Bekeriyah
• Shaykh ‘Abdullāh bin Ḥumayd

» HIS STUDENTS:
Shaykh Muḥammad as-Subayyil had many students, among them:
• Shaykh Ṣāliḥ al-Luhaydān
• Shaykh Ṣāliḥ al-Fawzān
• Shaykh Muqbil bin Hādī al-Wādi’ī

Blatant Lies

In this section, we will only list the very blatant lies mentioned in the book

Death on toilet

The Indian newspaper also published a piece on the death of Ghulām Aḥmad. They stated that, when Ghulām Aḥmad al-Qādiyānī—the false prophet—was stricken with cholera, there was filth exiting from his mouth prior to his death. And he died while sitting on the toilet, defecating in the bathroom.

[Pg 11232321]

This is a blatant lie without any citation. No newspaper has this and there is no proof of this anywhere.

Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (AS) died exactly like the Prophet Muhammad (SAW), surrounded by his family, in remembrance of Allah and after prophesying his own death. Full article can be read here.

Death after hitting on the bed

The next lie he makes up is that Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (AS) dies because he hit his head on the bed post. So what is true? He died because he hit on the bed post or that he died on the toilet? This ignorant Mawlavi can’t even make up his mind.

When he stopped vomiting, he wanted to lie down, but he fell down on the bed and hit his head against the wooden bedpost and died.
Reference: Mirzā Bashīr ad-Dīn. Biography of the Mahdī, 1/11, narration #12.

[Pg 11232321]

He quotes a reference but no such reference exists in the book, Seeratul Mahdi that says Mirza Ghulam Ahmad Qadiani (AS) died after hitting his head on the bed post. Full article can be read here again which contains the narrations from the same book.

Deny Virgin Birth of Isa (AS)

» THEY DENY THAT JESUS WAS BORN WITHOUT A FATHER
They deny that Jesus (‘Īsā) was born from a mother without a father. They say that he has a father; thus, they accuse Allāh of lying in His statement:

Verily, the likeness of Jesus with Allāh is the likeness of Ādam. He created him from dust, then (He) said to him: “Be!” and he was.
[Sūrah Āli ‘Imrān 3:59]

[Pg 11232321]

This is again a blatant lie and no reference from any book of Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (AS) is quoted. Ahmad (AS) has numerous times mentioned that Isa (AS) was born without a father. Full article with references can be read here.

Deny Miracles of Prophets

» THEY REJECT THE MIRACLES OF THE PROPHETS
They reject the miracles of the prophets, even though these miracles are narrated through reports with numerous chains of narration; and they are stated in several places in the Qur’ān, such as in the stories of Ṣāliḥ, Moses (Mūsā), Jesus, and Muḥammad.

[Pg 14]

Another lie and again without any reference or citation.

Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (AS) never denied any miracle of any prophets. On the contrary, he showed numerous miracles throughout his life, like healing the sick, death prophecy of many individuals, miracles through acceptance of dua and many more. These can be read under the section of our website called, Sign of Messiah.

Ahmad (AS) even challenged his enemies that they can throw him into a live burning hell fire and God would save him like he saved Ibrahim (AS).

Abrogated Jihad

» THEY CLAIM THAT JIHĀD HAS BEEN ABROGATED
They claim that jihād has been abrogated, even though the Qur’ān, the Sunnah, and the consensus of the scholars [all agree] that it remains.

[Pg 14]

No citation or reference again!

Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (AS) never claimed that Jihad is abrogated. He even rejected the theory of abrogation (Naskh Mansukh) that Sunnis believe in. They believe that there commandments and verses in Quran that are abrogated (are useless) and can never be used for legal rulings or otherwise. Full article here.

Get Money from British and British Spies

» THEY HAVE ANIMOSITY & ENMITY TOWARDS THE MUSLIMS
Their enmity towards the Muslims is immense while they have allegiance towards the non-Muslims, especially Britain, from whom they receive large amounts of money to disseminate their false beliefs. For this reason, you will rarely find a country that England has colonized except that the Ahmadiyya have centers and preachers within it. They even established a center in Israel, where they are given complete support and assistance such that they publish a monthly magazine there called Al-Bushra. All of this—and other matters, as well, which will be mentioned during this analysis—proves that they have evil intentions against the Muslims, and their destructive principles clearly oppose the religion of Islām and contradict the foundations and principles of this religion.

[Pg 14]

Again no citation or reference. What is wrong with this ‘scholar’? Why can’t he ever provide any proof of his claim?

This is absolutely absurd. Ahmadi Muslims are probably the only group of Muslims who never receives monetary favors from any country or any other group. Unlike the Sunni Muslims who get government funding from the British government and other governments around the world. This has been the case since the British were in India. Just one example is the famous Salafi Sunni Green Lane Masjid in UK receiving multi million dollar donation from the government.2Birminghammail.co.uk]3

Lastly, Arab Sunnis converted to the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community settled in Palestine, long before the Sunnis lost it to the Zionists. Just like many Sunni Muslims, they have been living in the Palestine since decades. Claiming that Ahmadis get any special favors from Israel is completely absurd, that too without citing any source.

No Miracles from Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (AS)?

His followers answered his call and believed in him without any evidence or clear proof from him; rather, they followed
him simply because he appealed to them. They complied with his wishes without scrutinizing his statements or examining his claim. If they’d had any knowledge about the rules of the religion, the verses from the Qur’ān, and the miracles of the prophets and messengers, they would have never accepted his fallacious claim; they would have never accepted his fabrication. Surely, it is a must that prophets bring miracles and evidence to substantiate their prophethood, miracles that will necessitate the people to believe in them [because they can do] things man is not able to do.

If only these Qādiyānis would have requested their alleged prophet to perform any such miracle so they would have proof of his truthfulness.

[Pg 23]

I am tired of repeating but again, he cites no proof or a reference.

I have already mentioned the numerous miracles of Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (AS). These can be read under the section of our website called, Sign of Messiah.

The rest is childish tantrums saying people believe in him without evidence and so on. Unlike the ‘Giant scholar’ of Sunnis, we will stay academic.

Qadian greater than Mecca and Madina?

» GHULĀM AḤMAD CLAIMED THAT HIS HOMELAND OF QADIAN IS GREATER THAN MAKKAH & MADĪNAH
He said: “Verily, the Noble Qur’ān mentions the names of three towns with reverence and veneration: Makkah, Madīnah,
and Qadian.”11

He said: “Verily, Qadian is the Mother of Towns; whoever cuts it off will be cut and shredded. Thus, fear lest you be cut and shredded. The fruits of Makkah and Madīnah have ceased, but the fruits of Qadian continue to be fresh.”12

—-

11 Notes on Dispelling Illusions, p. 34
12 The Reality of Dreams, p. 46

[Pg 34]

Finally, he gave some references to his lies.

The first reference does not say Qadian is greater than Mecca and Medina. Rather, it is placed third, after Mecca and Medina. Moreover, the statement is from Kashf (vision) of Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (AS). Read more here.

The second reference is not from any book of Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (AS). There is no book named The Reality of Dreams by Ahmad (AS).

There are many more lies and misquotes in the book but it will be added to this article over a period of time.

Wish of the Promised Messiah (AS)

Over a century ago, Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (as), the Promised Messiah and Mahdi, expressed his heartfelt desire:

میری بڑی آرزو ہے کہ ایسا مکان ہو کہ چاروں طرف ہمارے احباب کے گھر ہوں اور درمیان میں میرا گھر ہو اور ہر ایک گھر میں میری ایک کھڑکی ہو کہ ہر ایک سے ہر ایک وقت واسطہ ورابطہ رہے۔

“It is my great desire that there be such a house where the homes of my friends surround it from all four sides, and in the middle would be my own house. And there should be my window in each of their homes through which there may be a constant connection and communication with each one at all times.”

[Seerat Masih Maud (AS) by Hazrat Maulvi Abdul Karim Sialkoti (RA), p.39-40]

A Wish in a World Without Media

The Promised Messiah (AS) had a beautiful spiritual yearning to remain close to his followers. In the physical world, we can imagine the windows of homes opening towards a central mansion. However, in a spiritual context, such a thing is hard to imagine – and it was especially unimaginable at the time.

Hazrat Maulvi Abdul Karim Sialkoti’s (RA) biography of the Promised Messiah (AS) was published in 1900. At that time, there was no concept of satellite TV, internet, or live broadcasts. Even the idea of speaking to someone in another city, let alone another continent, in real time sounded impossible. So how could the homes of millions, even billions of followers around the globe open toward one central figure?

Fulfillment of Promised Messiah’s Spiritual Wish

Muslim Television Ahmadiyya (MTA)

Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (AS) was a divinely appointed Messiah and Mahdi of God, and it is God Almighty who fulfills the desires of His chosen ones. Consequently, Allah fulfilled this sacred desire 26 years ago, in 1992, through MTA—a channel that enters homes through what resembles a window: the television. No one could have imagined this far-fetched wish of the Promised Messiah (AS) coming true. However, it is God Almighty who made sure to fulfill it.

Interestingly, early televisions were also quite literally built like windows, as they consisted of boxy screens with wooden shutters that opened outward, just like a real window. Even today, the shape and feel of a TV screen still carries that symbolism. And through this “window,” the voice and image of Khalifatul Masih, the spiritual successor to the Promised Messiah (AS), is present in Ahmadi homes across the world. Through this spiritual window that is the MTA, his sermons, messages, and heartfelt guidance reaches all our living rooms and hearts alike.

Jalsa Salana Through MTA: The Fulfillment of a Global Spiritual Vision

Nowhere is this vision more beautifully fulfilled than during Jalsa Salana held each year, especially the UK Jalsa, where thousands gather in person, while millions more tune in from across continents. During the Jalsa, the Khalifa addresses the global Jama’at, and every Ahmadi household becomes part of this unified experience.

During the live global transmission of Jalsa Salana, MTA often shows this beautiful montage of screens—like windows into mosques, mission houses, and homes all over the world. You see Jama’ats gathered in different time zones, different cultures, different languages, all tuned into the same live Jalsa broadcast. And right in the middle is the window of Huzoor (aba), from where his voice is reaching into every single window worldwide.

This right here is the perfect, beautiful fulfillment of the Promised Messiah’s wish, on the biggest stage possible.

Montage of Screens – Jalsa Salana UK 2025

Fulfillment of Promised Messiah’s Revelation

Support from the Heavens and the Earth

More than a century ago in 1897, the Promised Messiah (AS) also received the powerful revelation:

اَلْاَرْضُ وَالسَّمَاءُ مَعَکَ

“The heavens and the earth are with you.”

[Siraj Munir, Ruhani Khazain, Vol. 12, p. 83-84]

The “support of the heavens” in this revelation vouchsafed to the Promised Messiah (AS) is a clear reference to MTA. Today, thanks to the global reach of MTA, we are now able to have, experience, and witness the powerful spiritual gatherings of Jalsa Salana from anywhere in the world.

No matter where we are, we can stay connected to Khalifatul Masih through MTA: his very own window into our homes. Just take This Week with Huzoor as an example. What a blessing it is that, through this window, we stay updated and spiritually connected to Huzoor’s weekly activities.

Fulfillment of Promised Messiah’s Dream

Floating Without Moving

At approximately 12:40 am on December 2nd 1908, Ahmad (AS) also saw a vivid dream:

I saw [in my dream] that I was about to perform my ablutions when I felt that the ground underneath me was soft and hollow and that there was a cave running below it […] At that time I felt that I was floating about in the air inside a hollow space equal in circumference to the distance between here and the house of Navväb Sähib. I floated in it from one side to the other. Syed Muhammad Ahsan was standing on its bank and I called him and said: Jesus walked on water but observe that I am floating in the air, and I am the recipient of Divine grace in a greater measure than he was […].

[Tadhkirah, English Version, p.603]

This powerful dream of Ahmad (AS) once again hinted at something far ahead of its time. It also signalled that he (AS) would receive far more favours of God than Jesus (AS).

Hazrat Mirza Tahir Ahmad (RH), Khalifatul Masih IV, connects this dream of Ahmad (AS) to MTA stating that ‘floating in the air’ is a clear reference to satellite technology and that the dream has found its fulfillment in the satellite channel MTA. He stated that this dream is again a powerful sign that the heavens are in support of Ahmad (AS), and that this humble Jama’ah will continue to rise and prevail like never before, as he expressed in the following words:

“I know that as Hazrat Masih Maud (AS) said: ‘Now it is decided that the air of the heavens will be subdued for the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and in all the ranks that are related to the heavenly journeys, the slaves of Hazrat Masih Maud (AS) will be given an advantage over all other nations and people of the world.’ So this is the beginning of the heavenly journey. These waves of MTA that descend from the sky all over the world are the beginning of this journey. There is still much that is to come. You cannot even imagine what the coming centuries will see, despite seeing all this, how much greatness has been created.”

[Al-Fazl International, July 4, 1997, p.4]

Today, Ahmadis around the world are spiritually “floating” with Huzoor (aba) through the airwaves of MTA. We move with him, pray behind him, and listen to his sermons, all without being physically present.

In this way, MTA has become the spiritual window of Ahmad (AS) into the homes of all Ahmadis — a living fulfillment of his wish, revelation, and dream, and a testimony from the heavens in support of the Promised Messiah (AS).

Conclusion

The Promised Messiah’s (AS) wish over a century ago has been beautifully and completely fulfilled in our time. Our devices and MTA have become spiritual windows, connecting all us Ahmadis across the world to the main house in Islamabad, where our beloved Khalifa resides.

This is also a clear and powerful sign of the truthfulness of Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (AS). The promise “the heavens and the earth will support you” is being fulfilled in front of our eyes.

In Jalsa Salana each year, we are witnessing that vision come to life on the biggest stage, where the Khalifa’s voice reaches into homes of all Ahmadis through MTA – Huzoor’s spiritual window in our homes.

Additional Resource

“The place that the Mahdi had longed for—MTA is that very place.”
Al-Fazl International, July 24, 2020,

Chola of Baba Nanak

The Chola (cloak) of Baba Nanak (RH), is the holiest relic of Baba Nanak (RH) and is carefully preserved in Dera Baba Nanak, a small village in Gurdaspur District of the Punjab, India. It is significant because it is the cloak which Baba Nanak (RH) wore very often in his lifetime. It is so sacred that Baba Nanak’s immediate followers took every care to keep it safe, and even today, special care is given to keep the cloak safe. The regard and reverence given to the Chola by the Sikh community is a testimony to the authenticity of the cloak.

In 1895, Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (AS) himself visited Dera Baba Nanak and drew a sketch of the Chola, after a delegation of his companions had already gone earlier and confirmed that the Chola was preserved there.

Allegation

Some Sikhs today claim that the Chola has verses from different scriptures in different languages to show Baba Nanak’s respect for all religions. But this is not true in the slightest. As one can see from the Sketch of Chola above, the writings on the cloak are only from the Holy Qur’an.

Challenge of Promised Messiah (AS)

As many knowledgeable Sikhs were hiding the true identity and contents of the Chola at the time, after Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (AS) personally saw it and noted that the only inscriptions on the Chola were purely Islamic, like the Shahadah and verses from the Qur’an, he became fully convinced that Baba Nanak (RH) was indeed a follower of Islam. Subsequently, he issued a bold challenge to all Sikhs in his book Satt-Bachan:

The cloak (Chola) still exists; anyone who wishes may go and see it. And we are prepared to offer a cash reward of three (3000) thousand rupees if anywhere in the cloak there is even the slightest mention of the Vedas or its verse, or any praise of any religion other than Islam, or any verses from any scripture other than the Holy Qur’an…

[Satt-Bachan, Rohani Khizain, Volume 10, page 156]

<details class="wp-block-details is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow">
NOTE: ₹3,000 is equivalent to $50,000 USD today!

</details>

Conclusion

Over a hundred years have passed, yet no Sikh has ever dared to come forward to meet this challenge. For those willing to reflect, this serves as a striking sign of the truthfulness of Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (AS) and the clear Islamic identity of Baba Nanak (RH).

Some Sikhs may further argue that the Chola was just a gift to Baba Nanak. But if it really was only a gift, then why did Baba Nanak wear it so often himself? And why has it been kept as such a sacred relic by Sikhs ever since? For those willing to reflect, the importance of the Chola to Baba Nanak (RH) clearly shows that he followed Islam and that his faith was deeply connected to the message of the Qur’an.

It is itself a miracle that the Chola was preserved for many centuries after Baba Nanak’s passing, and that too by people who did not believe in Allah and his Messenger, Muhammad (SAW). Reflecting on this can make it clear to a person that it was solely by divine decree that the Chola survived, so that when the Promised Messiah (AS) appeared, he could reveal the true faith of this revered saint and prove to the world that it was solely through the beautiful religion of Islam from which this noble Saint received all his blessings.

May Allah open the hearts of our Sikh brothers and sisters to recognize the faith that Baba Nanak RH himself embraced – and guide them towards the True Islam.

Someone from Indonesia wrote to Hazrat Amirul Momineen, Khalifatul Masih Vaa, enquiring about Islam’s perspective on music and musical instruments.

In his letter, dated 9 March 2023, Huzoor-e-Anwaraa gave the following reply:

“It is permissible under the Islamic sharia to listen to such songs, poems and chants that are not accompanied by dancing, etc. and are free from any moral impropriety. Ahadith recount various occasions on which, during times of joy or at weddings, girls sang such songs and chants in the presence of the Holy Prophetsa and he did not prevent them; indeed, when anyone attempted to stop them, the Holy Prophetsa said,

‘Do not trouble these girls.’

(Sahih al-Bukhari, Kitab al-jumu‘ah, Bab al-hirabi wa d-daraqi yawma l-‘id)

“Likewise, on one wedding occasion, the Holy Prophetsa told Hazrat Aishara that the Ansar, into whose family the bride was being married, delighted in melodious singing. He therefore advised her to send with the bride a few young girls of pleasant voice, who would sing:

‘We are come to you, we are come to you; may Allah preserve us and preserve you.’

(Sunan Ibn Majah, Kitab an-nikah, Bab al-ghina’i wa d-duff)

“However, whenever the Holy Prophetsa observed or sensed anything inappropriate in such songs or chants, he immediately forbade the singers.”

(Sahih al-Bukhari, Kitab al-maghazi, Bab shuhudi l-mala’ikati badran)

“The Promised Messiahas, while rendering a commentary on the verses of Surah an-Nur, states:

“‘[These verses command the Holy Prophetsa to] direct the believing men to restrain their eyes from looking at women outside the prohibited degrees so openly as to be sexually excited by them and to cultivate the habit of guarding their looks. And should safeguard their private parts at all costs. Likewise, they should restrain their ears outside the prohibited degrees; that is, they should not listen to the singing or beguiling voices of women outside the prohibited degrees, nor should they listen to descriptions of their beauty. This is a good way of preserving the purity of their looks and hearts. In the same way, direct believing women that they should restrain their eyes from looking at men outside the prohibited degrees and should safeguard their ears against listening to the voices of such men. That is, they should not listen to the voices which sexually excite them.’

(Islam Ki Usul Ki Falasafi, Ruhani Khazain, Vol. 10, pp. 341-342)

“After describing the decline of Muslim rule across various Islamic countries, Hazrat Musleh-e-Maudra states:

“‘Despite witnessing such catastrophic ruin, Muslims still passionately indulge in cinema and musical entertainment, deriving no lessons whatsoever from their history. Yet, the Holy Quran explicitly instructs in the words وَالَّذِیْنَ لَا یَشْھَدُوْنَ الزُّوْرَ’ (Surah al-Furqan, Ch. 25: V. 73), that if Muslims aspire to become ‘Ibad-ur-Rahman [i.e., Servants of the Gracious God], it is incumbent upon them, above all else, to shun gatherings of music and song and devote themselves wholeheartedly to the One God. Should they adhere to this, they shall attain success; failing this, they cannot evade the disastrous consequences.’ (Tafsir-e-Kabir, Vol. 9, UK, 2023, pp. 218–219) [According to Lane and ‘Aqrab, زُوْر means a lie; a falsehood; false witness; association of others with God; a place where lies are told; a place where people hear singing and entertain themselves with vain or frivolous diversion; the assemblies of polytheists; strength, etc. —Editor Al Hakam]

“However, with regard to the permissibility of decent songs during wedding festivities, Hazrat Musleh-e-Maudra further elucidates:

“‘On the occasion of marriage, singing is permissible according to the sharia. However, such songs must either possess religious merit or be entirely harmless in nature. For example, general wedding songs, typically sung in a light-hearted and innocent manner, pose no moral objection, for they are merely sung to enliven hearts and exert no detrimental influence on one’s ethical conduct.’

(Farmudat-e-Musleh-e-Maud dar barah Fiqhi Masa’il, p. 220)

“In response to a specific question, he stated that there is no sin in singing a song during wedding celebrations, provided the lyrics contain neither obscenity nor idle nonsense and the manner of singing remains modest and dignified.

(Farmudat-e-Musleh-e-Maud dar barah Fiqhi Masa’il, p. 221)

“Hence, in summary, listening to songs is not intrinsically haram. Therefore, on festive occasions such as weddings or other joyous gatherings, singing and listening to songs couched in pure, wholesome verse, provided they contain no hint of indecency, entail no risk of arousing base passions and do not degenerate into a frivolous waste of time.“As for musical instruments, certain ahadith mention the permissibility of the daff.

(Sunan at-Tirmidhi, Kitab an-nikah, Bab ma ja’a fi i‘lani n-nikah)

The Holy Prophetsa himself elucidated its intended purpose as a means of publicly announcing marriage ceremonies, etc. Hence, the use of such instruments for a purposeful objective (as in olden times, when armies in war would be stirred to defend their homeland by patriotic chants and poems recited to the accompaniment of these instruments) is permissible. However, in this era, many musical instruments are employed aimlessly and merely for senseless dancing and singing, such as various forms of pop music, which not only involve vulgarity and lead people towards unworthy pursuits but also lack any meaningful purpose. Therefore, using these instruments in such a manner is inappropriate.”
