Does the Promised Messiah (AS) Misquote Hadith or Add Words? | Full Analysis

Introduction

Promised Messiah AS has himself answered that he does not quote Ahadith word for word but rather by their meaning and in the style of interpretation

Answer of Promised Messiah

Question from Batalwi:

His Statement (Qawluhu): One of your fabrications is that on page 201 of Izala-e-Auham, in the translation of the hadith “Wa Imamukum”, you added your own words.

I Say (Aqawal): This is a deficiency in your understanding or an outright fabrication, because this humble one has always had the habit of not intending literal translation but rather explaining the meanings.
However, I do not do so from myself, but rather unfold and present what is contained in the original text. Indeed, here the “wa” (and) in “Wa Imamukum” relates to the interpretation of the previous sentence. When this discussion with you begins, you will be made to understand based on the rules of grammar. Be a little patient and see my book Barahin-e-Ahmadiyya – my translations are always in the style of interpretation. It is regrettable that despite writing a review, you did not object to these translations nor accused me of fabrication anywhere. The real reason for this is nothing other than that your eyes were different at that time, and now they are different. May God Almighty restore your former vision. And He has power over all things. And remember that I have also mentioned the descent of the Messiah in Jerusalem or Damascus only by way of interpretation, not as a literal translation.
