Paigham e Sulah is Paigham e Jang – Maulana Noor-ud-Deen Bhervi(RA)
Introduction
Paigham e Sulah (Message of Peace) was one of the final books writen by the Promised Messiah and dealt with Hindu-Muslim relations. When Maulvi Muhammad Ali went to Lahore after 1909 he started a newspaper known as Paigham e Sulah based on that final book of Masih Maud(AS) of during the Khilafat of Hazrat Maulana Noor-ud-Deen Bhervi(RA). Originally this newspaper did not present an issue but later on grew to become an issue. Although Lahoris like to claim that Maulana Noor-ud-Deen(RA) loved the future members of the Lahori group however the facts show a different of the story.
Lahori Ahmadis had the same view as the Qadiyani Ahmadis.
Clearing the Misconceptions (Aik Ghalat Fahemi Ka Izalah)
“It has been gathered that some people have been involved in creating a misunderstanding that by those at the back of this journal, or one of them, anyway, Syedna wa Hadiyna Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad(AS), the Promised Messiah and the Mahdi, is being assigned a position far below the one, in fact which belongs to him. We, all the Ahmadies connected with this newspaper, in one way or other, go on solemn oath, before God Who knows the innermost secrets of what lies in the mind openly and honestly declare that is view being imputed to us is nothing more than gross accusation, a pernicious charge against us. We solemnly hold that the Promised Messiah is the Prophet for this age, a Prophet, and Messenger from God, raised to deliver Muslims and all Mankind from sins and evil. And the rank that Hazrat Maseeh Maud(AS) has himself stated for himself and to display it in a smaller manner we consider such acts to be signs of lack of faith. Our iman is that to deliver Mankind from sins and evil is only possible by beleiving in Hazrat Nabi A’kram(SAW) and his ghulam[servant] Hazrat Maseeh Maud(AS) and without this belief salvation can not occur. After this we believe his Khalifa Bar Haqq [True and righetous Khalifa] is Syedna wa Murshidna wa Mawlana Hazrat Maulvi Noorudeen Sahib, Khalifatul Masih, is our truthful leader. MashAllah, what a statement indeed. First can we take a moment to appreciate how the title or unwaan of this statement is extremely similar to Promised Messiah(as)’s book “Aik Ghalti Ka Izalah” or a Misconception Removed regarding prophethood. It shows two things 1) There were attempts to assigned a position far below the one for the Promised Messiah 2) The Lahoris are themselves saying we are not doing this and we agree in no uncertain terms he is a prophet 3) By calling Masih Maud(as) “Nijat e Dhahinda” it shows that in their view the people who reject Masih Maud(as) are bound for hell(Jahanami). This entire clarification is one hundred percent beliefs of the Qadiani group.
Hazrat Maulana Noorudeen(RA), Khalifatul Maseeh al Awal was angered by Paigham e Sulah because they posted tracts against him and the mansab of Khilafat

Noor ud Deen(ra) writes: The tracts these days and Lahore’s Paigham-e-Jang have created a storm and it is disliked for any man to send them rupees especially Noor ud Deen. Thus Before Nasrullah Khan , Hakim Ali Sahib will himself come , my own worry is – Noor ud Deen November 21 1913
