Historical Account
The formation of Arabia is of an irregularly shaped rectangle surrounded by water at three of its boundaries, and land at its fourth one. The Arabian coastline is very small, in proportion to its girth, which naturally results in a lack of fine sea-ports. The area of Arabia is approximately 1.2 Million square miles and it is approximately 1,600 miles long and 700 miles wide. Hence, in reference to its area, Arabia is among the large countries of the world. However, if one analyses its population, various smaller countries appear larger in comparison. At present, the total population of Arabia is no greater than 8 Million. The cause of this shall become apparent ahead.
